Director of Outreach & Partnerships

The Director of Outreach & Partnerships leads Esprit Wellness Foundation’s relationship-building strategy — connecting us with sponsors, local businesses, veteran groups, nonprofits, and university partners. This role is key to growing our visibility, funding base, and collaborative power across Chicago and beyond.

• Identify, contact, and build relationships with potential sponsors and partners
   
• Represent Esprit in meetings, networking events, and outreach efforts
   
• Develop outreach materials, pitch decks, and partnership proposals
   
• Collaborate with the Event Director and Chapter Coordinators to align goals
   
• Report partnership updates to the Board and support long-term growth planning

• Background in sales, nonprofit fundraising, marketing, or relationship management
   
• Excellent communicator who’s confident in both email and in-person settings
   
• Has a strong personal network or interest in growing one across veteran services and community orgs
   
• Passionate about veteran support and collaborative impact

2–3 hours/month, flexible

This is a 100% volunteer leadership role for mission-driven professionals committed to building veteran-centered change.

Strong partnerships are the backbone of Esprit’s growth — whether it’s finding sponsors for a Murph Challenge, collaborating with a university, or securing in-kind donations for our first Rec Center. This role makes those partnerships happen.
