Treasurer / Director of Finance

The Treasurer oversees the financial health, transparency, and sustainability of Esprit Wellness Foundation. This role ensures responsible budgeting, reporting, and planning for both daily operations and long-term goals like building our flagship veteran recreation & wellness center.

• Monitor and report on EWF’s financial health at quarterly board meetings
   
• Help prepare annual budgets and ensure spending aligns with nonprofit goals
   
• Assist in grant planning, donor fund allocation, and financial recordkeeping
   
• Ensure compliance with IRS and nonprofit finance regulations
   
• Support the Finance/Donations Manager on the core team with oversight and mentorship

• Background in accounting, finance, or nonprofit budgeting
   
• Comfortable using QuickBooks, Excel, or donor tracking platforms
   
• Understands 501(c)(3) reporting requirements and charitable fund rules
   
• Strategic thinker with a heart for impact-driven financial leadership

2–4 hours/month (flexible)

This is a fully volunteer position on the Board of Directors, ideal for someone committed to building long-term financial resilience for a growing nonprofit.

From building centers to expanding programs, none of our goals are possible without financial stewardship. The Treasurer helps ensure that every dollar is maximized to serve veterans, dependents, and mission-driven initiatives.
