Vice Chair / Director of Strategic Leadership

The Vice Chair supports the Chairperson and plays a key role in shaping the long-term vision and strategic direction of Esprit Wellness Foundation. This individual works closely with the Founder/CEO and board to ensure that the organization stays focused on high-impact goals, including the development of national chapters and the Esprit Veteran Recreation & Wellness Center.

• Assist the Chair in leading board functions and decision-making
   
• Support strategic planning and long-term vision development
   
• Lead succession planning, risk management, and board development
   
• Step in for the Chairperson as needed at meetings or events
   
• Provide guidance on major initiatives, funding strategy, and organizational expansion

• Background in nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, or military command
   
• Strong organizational insight and forward-thinking mindset
   
• Familiarity with strategic development, fundraising, and program scaling
   
• Deep commitment to veterans’ wellbeing and Esprit’s mission

2–3 hours/month, including regular board participation and strategic contributions

This is a 100% volunteer position for mission-driven leaders committed to long-term change.
